For the last six months or so I have been volunteering at the local home care living center at Avera in Marshall. This week we created owls with the residents. DaVinci tagged along which made the evening more entertaining to say the least.
I’ve learned a few things about myself while volunteering. Firstly, I absolutely LOVE teaching. I feel so refreshed being able to share my gift with others. Secondly, it is more like guiding than teaching I show steps to create a specific object but I never limit your creativity. I believe that you should be free to create anything that you want. Watching DaVinci interact with these ladies and with the paint at the same time was very magical. He is exploring with his creativity so this age is very fun to observe him.
