Yesterday I created all sorts of floral and succulent watercolor paintings. 
I’m digging the gold mixed in with these vibrant colors! 
The unpredictability of watercolor is what fascinates me. 
You can change the density of the color by adding more or less water. 
You don’t really know what the water will dry like and I love that. 
Letting go of what I can’t control has been a long time challenge for me so exploring with watercolors is helping me. 
I am learning to be in less control of the things I can’t change and focusing more on the present moment. 
Most of the time this is challenging but with a brush in my hand my world just gets kinda quiet. (play on my favorite Notebook quote of all times)
